Forgive me if there has already been a post about this, but my searching did not yield what I was looking for.
I'm trying to book award travel in J to Australia on NZ with my United miles. Unfortunately, the only flights I can find in just about any month on NZ go via Tokyo or Beijing...hardly along the way down under. Is there any tricks I am missing to see this? Saver awards are preferred but just any reward would work at this point. When I try searching SFO or LAX to AKL, I get itineraries that take me on United metal to Sydney and NZ to AKL. I'm out of ideas. Hoping you guys can put me in on the right track! Thanks in advance! :D
