Searched here and on the AA site upgrade T&C and could not find an answer.
If I book a flight with a BA designation but it's a codeshare on AA metal, can I request an upgrade using an eVIP? I know each airline has its own share of revenue seats, but how would upgrading work?
Also, if the plane is a 77W, can I request seating in the extra room economy area as an ExecPlat?
