We will be flying QR for the first time in October , one of the reasons to try them was the short flighttime from BRU via DOH to DPS and to burn some AA miles to get a taste of their J class...
BRU/DOH/BRU is on a 787 .
According to a Qatar Air press release dated April 14 : "QR will be flying DOH/DPS from July as a direct, non stop with a 333, then changing type to 787 in October ".
After booking our flights BRU/DOH/DPS for coming Oct., I noticed that all DOH/DPS flights loaded on the QR website are 333 and this plane type stays as such till past Dec. 2014 ...
Can anyone plse .update me when precisely the type on DOH/DPS will switch from 333 to 787 ?
We have our seats pre-assigned for all flights but lay-out and number of bus. seats( 30 on 333 vs. 22 on 787 ) is different ...Best to be prepared re. timing of possible type change and we will keep an eye on our bookings but if all seats in bus. are sold for 333 type there will be a problem when switching to 787...
