I just wanted to share my recent LNF experience.
I was flying back from Africa, 38 hours into my transit, via LHR, on AC.
I left my laptop computer in the seat pocket...only to realize, the next day, that i had forgotten it on board.
I spoke to the LNF call centre, had a file setup, and went back to YYZ Baggage department three times...each time meeting some wonderful staff who were very very helpful.
They located the craft, found out where it had gone after YYZ, and traced it back to Halifax and LHR. They contacted their counterparts at these stations and checked online for the inventory of LNF items.
Finally, after a few days, they spotted a laptop which matched my description, and had it flown back to YUL and then onto YYZ.
They worked as a team, together, with their counterparts half way around the world, and at multiple stations in Canada, to help me recover my one precious item.
Hats off to them!!!
