Future connecting fun at GRU

Just got the following message after checking in for a GRU connection:

"El progresivo cambio de varias aerolíneas hacia el nuevo terminal a partir de mayo podría impactar las conexiones de miles de pasajeros, en particular aquellos con vuelos domésticos TAM, dado que los traslados entre el T1 y el T3 pueden llegar hasta una hora de camino a pie."

Question to the GRU experts: Do you think they are serious with this estimate of ONE HOUR WALKING in the future between T1 and T3...???
