Just curious...
Today's UA 1059 (ORD-CMH, 739 aircraft #3809) is delayed 75 mins (from 600p to 715p) due to inbound aircraft arrival. Inbound is UA1131 (RDU-ORD) which indeed arrives at 644p.
But UA1131 is on time- 644p is the scheduled arrival time - why would they deliberately build a delay in? Or does this suggest there was an aircraft swap, and #3809 was not the original aircraft for the ORD-CMH flight? Or something else?
Thanks.
