So i have a few questions and hopefully ya'll can help me out.
Me and my girl are travelling from the 14th of July until the 9th of August from Montreal to Tel Aviv.
We've decided to travel there in Economy ( 767 ) and return in Business ( 787 ) .
Reason being is that both ways business is a little too pricey so we decided to do business on the return flight on the new Dreamliner which is pretty exciting!
On the outbound flight there's a Tango fare at 827$ and a Flex fare at 927$.
Besides the 100% aeroplan miles vs the 50% aeroplan miles in Tango are there any other advantages in booking Flex? Will i have an easier time getting better seats? Say bulkhead or Emergency? Or is it simply to get the 100% aeroplan points? I'm not a latitude flyer by the way.
As far as a possible last minute upgrade at the airport say to business, would i get a better upgrade fare considering i booked in Flex Economy vs Tango Economy?
On the return i'd like your opinion as well in regards to Premium Economy vs Business. The price difference is about 600$ per person. Is it worth it? I mean it is a 11.5 hour flight..
Lastly can anyone help us choose the best seats? We both don't like flying so much so we absolutely have to sit together.
I know that if we go for Business we'd have pods but what pods would have us as close to each other as possible..
