Booking advise on my first international award ticket

hi everyone,

I am booking my first international award ticket soon, I really have no clue what I am doing, so please help. I would like to go to CPH for a week but also would like to stopover Paris for couple of days. If I call in Air Canada , should I ask for stopover at Paris or CPH? The route I would like is EWR-CDG-CPH-EWR. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks
