3 months ago I made two separate bookings with SAS, one round trip and then a separate booking for a connecting flight to a 2nd desitation, also with SAS. However, the connecting flight I booked, I booked by mistake on the day before the first flight arrives, so they don't actually connect. not sure how this happened. I could have sworn I checked it carefully and I even called the airline to confirm they could check my luggage all the way through even though I had 2 separate bookings. Just realized this error 2 days before I'm taking off and now they want to charge me $450 penalty to change the ticket for the following day. It was a $120 ticket to begin with. for a 1 hour flight. 450 just doesn't make sense to me and I can't afford it. I spoke with 5 different reps, including one supervisor to no avail. Will I have better luck at the airport at the time of travel? Anyone had a similar experience?
