I checked in for a Lufthansa flight recently and was informed that my Turkish Gold card was no longer valid on Lufthansa flights as they are no longer part of Star Alliance. This changed a few weeks ago I was told but I cannot find anything about it online.
The Star Alliance website still lists Turkish as of of their airlines and the Turkish Airlines site still says they are part of it.
Have I missed the boat on this one or have I been mis-informed?
