I had a prepaid rate for which I could not add my membership number because of the well-known limitation of the hertz.com site. As far as I understand the rental is qualifying - a major Spanish airport. I asked the agent to add my hertz no when picking up the car and he said he had done so. After a week I still had not received the pts. I filed a request online and was told that the location was not qualifying. I checked again and I could not see why it should be non-qualifying. I resubmitted the claim and received a different reply stating that it was a duplicate request. I resubmitted a third time to get a response that points had been awarded previously for the rental. I now see a transaction for 0 pts has appeared for the rental.
I do not see how that can be correct as it is for a pre-paid on hertz.com for a 2 week-rental.
I seem to be going nowhere in terms of either getting an explanation as to why no points should be awarded or having the rental credited.
