Starting some preliminary research for a potential 2015 trip to Brazil using skymiles. Getting tixx r/t to Rio or Sao Paolo seems easy enough but i'd love to do some sort of multi-city itinerary. Ideally fly NYC->Recife and then back Florianapolis or Iguazu->NYC.
You can buy tixx for cash at delta.com NYC->REC or FLN->NYC with the intra Brazil legs on Gol however I dont see a way to use skymiles for a trip to Brazil that doesn't end/start at GIG, GRU or BSB (that is, flying only on Delta operated flights).
Are flights on Gol not able to be booked using skymiles? Or is this just a function of Delta's poor award search engine (and I should just call them).
