My girlfriend and I both applied for the IHG card a 1-2 months ago and are eagerly awaiting our 80,000 points to be posted.
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but could FT recommend another card to supplement these points to help us with our trip? From my current understanding it seems as our best option may be the hyatt card for the 1 stay in any hyatt anywhere.
At the moment we are planning on doing about 3 days each on Taiwan,Singapore,Phuket, Koh Samui, and Bangkok. We are hoping to spend about 70% of our time in semi-luxury hotels (~$200/night) and the remainder amongst the nicest hotels in the region (possibly using rewards too?).
