Today I flew the outbound leg of an itinerary as a simple SkyMiles member. I just now logged in to DL's site to see if my flights had posted, and they did. Along with my new found (if temporary) Gold Medallion status. Yippee!
I have my return flight scheduled for Friday morning. How do I request to be put in consideration for an upgrade? According to the page that explains complimentary upgrades, you are automatically put in line when you book the ticket, but I didn't have status until after booking. Will I still get put in automatically, or do I need to call and ask?
