Rug as checked luggage

Hi all.
Weird question, I know.
I’ll be flying from France (BOD) to Gatwick in ET next week.
Given my status I can take up to 2 checked luggages at 32kg each max.

I have been given a rug and I’m wondering how I could fly it back. It measures 2mx3m and weights appx 20 kgs.
If I roll it, it will be 2mx40cmx40cm.
Could this be considered as a checked luggage as part of my luggage allowance? Or is it too much of a stretch?

I flew my bike a free years ago without any issues but I guess it was a sports equipment.
