I'm attempting to book a oct 12 - 13 redemption at the Westin Austin Downtown and apparently due to ACL the property isn't taking redemptions at this time? (Even though they're taking cash bookings). What are my options? Called into the front desk and they said they need GM approval except that the GM is on vacation for the next week. Called in to the Titanium line and they say that there's nothing they can do and can't force the property to open up redemptions.
What are my options? The property is definitely going against the Marriott T&Cs by preventing redemptions (Legacy Marriott hotels can do this but Legacy SPG hotels shouldn't be able to) but it doesn't seem like anyone cares or wants to do anything about it. I have no ambassador, so who do I escalate to?
