T5 Special assistance fail happening right now

Well it finally happened, omniserve screwed up so badly I missed my flight, 0725 LHR-CDG

I arrived at at T5 North Longe at 0555 was told flight was departing from B gate gate but not to worry, I would be picked up all the same

At 6.50 I was still waiting but 7am I could overhear lounge angel calling for updates and that it was now urgent

Eventually an omniserve staffer came for another passenger, about 0713. The lounge angel tells her my flight is more urgent. After a discussion, she agrees to take me instead

I did overhear the lounge agent say "I have telephhoned the gate and they are aware.

By the time we get to the gate 7.31 there is not a single person there. So, onto the b lounge to explain and see about rebook.

After looking at the info and takin some calls, the agent in the B lounge tells me:
- I got to the lounge in plenty of time
- the lounge agent informed then in plenty of time
-there was a staff changeover am during the time I was waiting, however, I was the only person on their rota at the time, so there weren't overrun with passengers (her comment not mine)
- She can try and get me on the next flight but she has to wait for confirmation from revenue management
