How in the world does an international airport as big as SFO not have golf carts?
I had a 52 minute layover from BOS-SFO to SFO-SYD and that 52 minutes turned into 15 minutes with the first flight being delayed. Managed to be the first one off the plane and ran like hell from the 80's to the 100's just to see they had already shut the doors. Would have made it if they had these carts. Or you know, hold a 15 hour flight for 3 minutes while I run through a giant airport.
Also, the United agent told me to run the wrong way when leaving the aircraft.
Was given food vouchers and a hotel voucher for the night. I was told I needed to go to the hotel before midnight, so I didn't get a chance to find an open restaurant at SFO to eat dinner at. Came to the hotel (Wyndham Brisbane) and the bar is closed, there is no room service after 11pm, and there is nothing within walking distance.
Pretty miserable experience with United overall.
