When flying BA, once in a while, while retreiving your reservation on ba.com, you might have an upgrade offer on the home page. It ranges from 29$£ to a few hundreds. You are then booked (accordind to the BAEC forum) into "I" fare bucket.
But since June, some have rebooked into a "U" fare bucket wich is used for miles redemption business award that doesn't earn miles according to AA chart for earning on BA.
This just happened to me :mad:. Even though KVS shows J9 C9 D0 R9 I7 on my flight.
I called BA and could not change anything to it, not even cancel such a dirty upgrade.
