As the new mile and bonus program will require24,000 for renewal, some of people may not stick with Aegean anymore. I just got upgraded to Gold tier and my gold status is vaild until 12/2015. I will probably swich to Turkish program around this time next year then, I will maintain the gold tier until 2017. Turkish will give you *G status if you have *G tier at the time of registration. Turikish only requires 37,500 in TWO years if you reside out of Turkey. Turkish will be better option, if you do not flight often but want to keep your status as the gold tier with lower flight mileage.
