Where to exchange Malaysian currency to USD - India or US?

Hi,

I have $3000 USD worth of Malaysian Ringgit. Any suggestion on where to exchange this to USD?

I am currently in India. Should I exchange it here? Or should I exchange it at the airport when I reach SFO? Or will I get a better rate somewhere in the city/bay area?
