I have a valid work visa for the US, but because I'm returning from international travel Delta won't let me check in online. I have no checked bags so I dread the extra time at the airport, I know my documents are in order and I'd happily just let border security in the US deal with it. As it so happens, I WILL be leaving the US again in ~60 days. At check-in on the app, it asks for my "return" date. Is there any harm in me putting in my next international trip there, even if it's not to the same cou try i am flying in from? Is that transmitted to the US? I'm just trying to save time at check in so if it raises flags I won't do it, and even if I DID enter it I don't know if that would even get me a boarding pass (though it would get me to visa waiver duration since I'm traveling on a Canadian passport).
