Tips for EWR->SIN flight

It's my first time taking this particular flight (I fly business class, the flight is in 2 weeks), so I wanted to make sure I do everything right.

I'm also not familiar with the EWR lounge, in case there is anything worth doing/getting from the lounge.

I believe that since I don't have solitaire status, I can't get anything after arrival though.

For the flight itself, I'm aware I can request an amenity kit and I've booked the cook. What else should I know? Are there any particular foods or drinks particularly worth trying? Anything not on the menu they provide? (I heard there is special champagne off-menu so far)
