Booked an F ticket last year using Lifemiles. Called in to redeposit the miles. Was given a new record locator for the redeposit. Paid $200 via credit card. After 30 days sent a message via the website and generated a ticket number. Received a follow up email saying they would look into it. Day 40 followed up. No change in status. Day 45 initiated a chargeback. Bad enough they want to steal 102,000 miles. I shouldnt have to pay for the privilege.
Any thoughts? I would rather have the 102,000 miles and pay the $200. Any idea how to escalate? Thanks
