I have a TK J award out of Denver in December (DEN-IST). That flight departs at 7:35pm.
I need to position to DEN on a separate ticket, and have two options - one arriving at 8:45am and one arriving at 4:45pm. I am leaning towards the earlier one to have a fallback or greater buffer if weather or other issues impact travel.
I have access to the Centurion lounge and should also be able to access thePolaris UA Club lounge. Still, 9+ hrs is a long time to sit around in a lounge.
Its been ages since I last traveled through Denver. Is there anything interesting to do at the airport, or is it worth grabbing an Uber to somewhere? Any cool museum I should visit?
I would even consider flying in on the 4:45pm flight the night before, staying at an airport hotel and then having the next day to do something interesting while hopefully be able to leave my carry-on bag at the hotel until closer to departure time.
