SFO - Terminal 1 - AS/Clear

I traveled last week on AS through Terminal 1. For Clear, they moved the TSA check-in upstairs. I usually go through next to Door 4.

I'm about to travel with 3 kids by myself.

Does anybody know if that's permanent, or an overflow type of situ?
