For anyone who remembers this specifically, or who might have known him at work, I thought you might like to know that Wolfgang passed away recently at the age of 91. I knew him well professionally, and we talked about cooking every time we got together (and, in recent years, we spent a lot of time moaning about how we can't find a decently-priced goose for Christmas). As it happens, he was also good friends with my office manager's late husband. We're going to miss him around the office!
