I have a European trip planned in March, next year, and looking for any updates I can find for this train route. I have scoured the internet profusely and found information that the route would have been opened by the end of this year, then I found conflicting information that it will be ready by March next year; just not a firm "concrete" date on when the blocked tunnel will be reopened to train traffic, in the mountain through the French Alps. Right now one of the viable option is via Paris>Switzerland>Milan, or Paris via train>Bus Service in France>Milan train connection. Any new insight is greatly appreciated.
