I am recently back in the UK from a return trip in Suites to Sydney (all flights booked under the same booking reference). When I arrived in Sydney I was still a KrisFlyer Gold member, 1,300 short in PPS value from achieving PPS Club membership. My return flight to the UK involved a two night stopover in Singapore. The first segment earned 3,924 in PPS value, and the second segment two days later earned a further 6,263 in PPS value. Upon returnng to the UK I have been upgraded to PPS Club with no credited reserve value. I know that any excess in value is written off and not moved into reserves on first achieving PPS Club status, but I guess I was rather hoping that this would apply to my first segment home and I would be credited reserve value in respect of the second segment flown two days later. I am guessing I was wrong in this belief?
