The more I fly MH the more I want to avoid them...
1. The other day, started with bad service in J
a. ordered a wine for post-takeoff drinks, F/A totally forgot the order
b. wanted more satay (and there was plenty left over) the FA just ignored the request.. I could not be bothered so went to sleep. funny enough she said i could have all the satay i wanted. i am not sure if she did not understand my english...
c. no bottle of water served early
2. flyer in Y the other day. asked for a glass of wine. the F/A saw that I had 2 beers before and said did you have 2 beers (this was after dinner service when they were clearing up trays). i said yes. he said i can only serve you 15 mins later. i ask why? he said because you will get intoxicated mixing drinks... ROFL. i mean i get responsible service of alcohol. but 2 beers in 1 hr or so? Anyway10mins later he came back with a glass of wine.. drank it and went to bed...
3. their philippines call centre is a joke. most of their agents are untrained - i asked how much a change fee was and she pulled a random number out of her arse like x 10 what is was meant to be. i said you go check properly and after making a call she came back with a right number. another time, the agent just flat out said we cannot handle multi-city bookings here... like ...? ok then how do i call to get an agent that can? (Malaysia call centre is very good - but i dont know how to consistently get routed there)
On the positive note s
1. See that they have made some improvements in their IT - their multi city booking tool is quite flexible and even making changes online is less painful.. though can be buggy sometime.
2. their new ASKMH chat is very good and i have gotten quite a bit done on that.
Once i get my platinum i will fly less on them - an odd cheapier long haul J is ok.. but will limit my time on them...
