Winter Weather Operations - Potential Options

So I am SDF based, and we have locally had a slightly colder and wetter than typical winter. However, winter weather and snow/ice are not uncommon here. I have noticed that United's operations during winter weather, in particular de-icing have been terrible during the 24-25 winter. I know that United does not have mainline operations here below the wing, but what what buttons should I push to try to influence some change? Does anyone else avoid United (or another airline) at their home airport due to terrible winter weather operations?

These were United operations yesterday at SDF. The day started out with snow until about 9 am then it was just overcast with a few flurries for the rest of the day.
DEN - 9 AM Depature (2 hour de-ice)
EWR - 8 AM Depature (1 hour de-ice)
EWR - 2 PM Depature (Cancel weather in EWR)
IAD - 10 AM Departure (2 hour de-ice)
IAD - 3:30 PM Departure (1.5 hour de-ice)
IAH - 7:00 AM Deparuture (Multiple de-ice attempts, 7 hours off the gate total)
IAH - 9:30 AM Departure (2.5 hour de-ice)
IAH - 3:30 PM Departure (3 hour de-ice, return to gate delay to Monday)
ORD - 7 AM Depature (1 hour de-ice)
ORD - 10 AM Depature (Multiple de-ice attempts, 4 hours off the gate total)
ORD - 1:30 PM Depature (1.5 hour de-ice)
ORD - 6 PM Depature (3 hour de-ice, return to gate delay to Monday)

Then to add insult to everything else, I noticed later in the evening the late arriving flights from DEN, ORD, and IAH each spent between 1 and 2 hours on the ramp waiting for a gate on arrival. I suppose that was exaserbated the the fact that the earlier EWR, IAH, and ORD flights had returned to the airport.
