I was scheduled to travel on Tuesday ORD-CLT-FRA-LCY in J. Odd routing, but client meetings were in the Docklands and much easier to fly to LCY. Flew ORD-CLT with no problem. Boarded the CLT-FRA leg and then, after a 60 minute mechanical delay, we taxied out only to have to go back to the gate due to a burning smell in the aft galley. The only way for me to get to London in time for meetings was to take the late CLT-LHR flight. I was accommodated on that flight (managed to get one of the unlinked J seats on the Zodiac 772's). Upon arrival at LHR, I went to use the AA Arrivals Lounge to freshen up and figure out best way to get to the Docklands. AAgent initially didn't want to let me in because she said my ticket was showing as a non-rev ticket. Explained to her that the D12 she saw on my BP was actually the departure gate in Charlotte. Since it was already nearly 1pm (and the lounge closes at 2pm) she let me in.
Flash to today - I see that the ORD-CLT leg posted but the CLT-LHR leg did not. Normally AA metal posts the same day or within 24 hours. Now thinking that they messed up my ticket when they reaccommodated me on the CLT-LHR flight. Looks like another fight with AA for LP's (currently on a 12 week battle to get correct LP's posted from AS flights in December).
