I'm asking this even though there will be that one guy here telling me to go through immigration and check into a hotel.
I'm looking at a CX fare BKK-KUL fare via HKG. The problem is that the layover is 16 hours and 55 minutes (15:30 - 08:25+1). However, I am a BAEC Gold/OWE. If I'm ever going to be stuck at an airport for that long, I definitely wouldn't mind doing it at HKG. I've always wanted to check out the different food at different meal times at the CX lounges. I think the CX lounges do close for a few hours after the last flight. I won't mind getting kicked out at that time and maybe walking around for a bit before re-entering for breakfast. Is this possible?
