I have a conference in a couple months in National Harbor, MD, and it will be at the Gaylord Resort. I think the nearest IHG property is Indigo Old Town Alexandria. How is it compared to the two Intercontinental's in DC?
I have stayed at the IC Wharf and it was fine. Walking distance from some restaurants and a good 'hike' to the museums. I was hoping to stay at the Willard this time despite being further out but it is charging over $1700+++ per night on my dates!!!! Not willing to spend anywhere near that! (How is it worth that amount???)
Is the Indigo near a lot of nice restaurants and attractions? Looks like the Wharf is about a 30 minute commute to my conference but the Indigo is just across the river. I feel like I would get much nicer amenities and more benefits from the Wharf as compared to an Indigo hotel, being a Diamond/ Amb.
