upgrade status with SWU vs EXP. Which is better

I'm traveling tomorrow LHR-DFW-PDX. I"m SWU confirmed on LHR-DFW but wiatlisted on DFW-PDX.

There are 2 C seats available but not yet confirmed. What is the best way to try to nail these down?
