I appreciate all the help from anyone. TIA.
I am trying to resurrect a trip that was "delayed" by an event on Oct 7, 2023. On the eventful date, I was enroute flying to Ammon before heading to TLV.
In preparing for that trip then, I had also asked some similar questions and had received many generous inputs. Since then, I thought huge changes might have taken place, hence raising these questions again.
(1) I need to go to Tiberias from Tel Aviv by public transportation, on a NON Shabbat day. I recalled that I had to first take 1 train to some town (??), and connect to a bus to Tiberias. Is there a direct train? or direct bus? Would they accept payment by US issued credit cards or local cash? How much is the fare? (I avoid payment with my phone for personal reason). If possible, I will use Gett and Moovit to check schedules, but not to make payments.
(2) From TLV to a hotel in Tel Aviv: I understand taxi are readily available just outside of Passport Control. Which form of payments would they accept, credit cards or cash?
If I have only a few hours to see Tel Aviv, what would be your top recommendations? I enjoy markets, old towns, architectures, sunset scenes and seafood!
Thank you in advance for making my trip to Israel stress free!
