If this subject has been raised in an earlier thread, I'd be grateful for a link.
I purchased MMS Gift cards in March, 2024 (during the promotion for Hyatt stay nights and points) and thought that I had carefully reviewed the cards' T&Cs before making the purchases. I recall no mention of expiration dates associated with the Gift cards.
I requested physical Gift cards be mailed to me, and on them it is written "You can find terms and conditions at mmsgiftcardterms.com". On my desktop and laptop computers that website does not load completely. Specifically, in Chrome and Firefox the bottom of the page ("View More --") does not open.
It appears that newly issued MMS Gift cards have 24 month "non-extendable" expirations, and my question is whether that rule was in effect when I made the purchases last March (in which case I completely, and stupidly, overlooked the condition). If the expiration date was in effect when the original purchase was made in March 2024, it is entirely unintuitive to me that it would not have been printed somewhere on the physical gift card (which has substantial text both on the front and back of the card).
If the expiration condition has been added subsequently for new purchases, does anyone know whether our prior purchases are "grand-fathered" to not have expiration dates? If so, it would help me enormously to view (and print) any specifics in this regard. TIA!
