Just landed at MAA on a domestic leg and saw G-ZBJA parked up in the dark. FR24 shows it having landed here a few days ago, and I can see that BA36 was cancelled on 1st and 2nd April.
We're due to head back to LHR on BA36 early on Monday morning. I noticed earlier today that our assigned seats of 1A and 1B were replaced with random other seats, and I'm wondering what's happened ... IROPS? Did something happen to G-ZBJA on the BA35 on 1st April ? BA(35/)36 HAVE run in the past couple of days, but if the aircraft assigned were switched around a bit in the planning schedule, could that account for our seat assignments being lost?
Perhaps most importantly, I'm hoping that we're not going to find BA36 is cancelled on Monday!!
(But I am also a nosey parker who wants to know what could have led to ZBJA sitting here for 66 hours and counting...)
