Need to get from EDI to OPO

This summer I have a need to get from EDI to OPO. I'm debating a flight to LIS and catching the train. How easy is this? As in can I catch that train from the airport?

I'm also trying to avoid LCC but it seems Easy Jet or Ryan Air have the best flight times.
