This is my first time booking a ticket with Turkish Airline.
I'm travelling from Pakistan, to Calgary, Canada, and the last leg of my flight is via Air Canada. I intend to travel with my pet cat, and need to hold a flight reservation to confirm if there is a spot available for my cat on it, and then later buy the ticket.
On the website it simply does not give me the option to hold the reservation.
On the app, while it does give the hold option, when I enter all the details, and it's processing payment, it gives me the following error:
We cannot process your transaction as there is an unconfirmed flight (flights) in your reservation [BOS-31024]
(I am logged into my account on both website, and app)
My own speculation regarding this error is that when I open the seat selection menu, it shows the Air Canada flight has having full capacity. But for the same date, the flight on the Air Canada website shows plenty of empty seats. I've manually tried checking multiple dates through the Turkish Airline app, but for each date, over different fare options, the Air Canada flights are always shown as full.
Is there any way around this error? I desperately need any help any of you can provide.
