Okay, so I haven't been notified of any delays by AA on AA 4470 operated by Republic Airways from STL-ORD on 4/15. But FlightAware is showing a 6 hour delay which would compromise an International business class connection for myself and 3 others (2 of whom are older with difficult mobility). I've attached a screen shot. FlightAware is now showing an 18:00 CDT departure (originally scheduled at 12:00 CDT) for one of the 3 AA4470 entries at that time.
I called the EP phone line and they offered to try to switch us to a flight getting in later, leaving a very tight 50 min connection at ORD, but they also said from their end they are still seeing that everything for tomorrow is on time and that there are no issues. I'm wondering how serious something like this is or just some kind of route-filing/scheduling anomaly.
Any advice would be appreciated. If I was just traveling alone or just with my partner we would take things as they come, but dealing with older people who are already stressed about this, I'm trying to get ahead of any potential issues without creating others.
Thanks all.
