I have a couple of questions about upcoming Emirates flights that I can't seem to find definitive answers to by googling, if anyone can help?
Im flying from Singapore to Dubai in Business and can book the chauffer service as part of my ticket. My friend however is flying from London to Dubai in Emirates economy and meeting me at the airport to go to our hotel. We land within 5min of each other. (her at 12.20am and myself at 12.25am)
Is she able to come in the Chauffer car with me? Where in the airport would be best to meet her? Can she get to the chauffer desk without having to show or scan a business boarding pass to meet me? Is there more than 1 chauffer desk? (I don't know the lay out of the airport an unsure if there are arrival concourses like there are different departure ones?)
When we leave Dubai a week later, I'm flying in Emirates First to KUL and she is flying back to London in economy. We will be travelling to the airport together. Will she able to come to the first class check in desk with me and check in? or will she have to go through the economy check in and security then meet me at the other side? Are first and economy check in/security close to each other or will it be a trek with the bags etc if we cant go through together?
And finally, I dont think I can guest her into the first lounge with me as even though she is on an emirates flight, because its not the same flight as me. But, as I'm a Qantas Gold frequent flyer, can I guest her into the emirates business lounge, and sit with her until her flight departs, at which point I'll take myself off to the Emirates first lounge to wait for my flight to leave? Would she have to leave the lounge to board her flight and go to the economy gate?
So many questions! so ridiculously excited about experiencing Emirates business & First, the lounges, the caviar (I've never tried it! OMG what do I do if I dont like it? hide it in a napkin? :confused: ) and hopefully I'll be getting a pair of those pyjamas :D
Any hints or tips you can share about how to make the best of this amazing opportunity? What's your recommendations on the best eats n drinks to go for?
