Kuwait - Turkish connection time at Istanbul

Hi.

We are flying from Delhi to Istanbul (by Kuwait Airlines) and Istanbul to Kayseri (by Turkish Airlines) on November 23. Here are details -
Flight 1 :
06:15 Delhi - 08:10 Kuwait (KU 384)
(1:25 hrs layover at Kuwait)
09:35 Kuwait - 13:20 Istanbul (KU 155)

Flight 2 :
4:05 PM Istanbul Airport (TK2016)
5:35 PM Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR)

As they are from different careers, I can hope and keep my finger crossed that Kuwait will not be delayed. Two questions about these connections, as I never flew with these careers and have minimum knowledge -
- https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/KAC155/history shows me it delays almost for 2 hours for 2 days. Is there other place where I can see longer history and its trend ?
- In case, if I reach Istanbul late like 2 hours, will Turkish airlines accommodate in later flight which fly out at 6:55 PM ? Another thought was to book 6:55 PM flight only, but it means I will reach ASR in dark, which is not super bad, but trying to use good use of time.
