I'm sorry if I missed an existing thread for this topic, I believe there is one for Delta.
Will "missing" the last segment of an itinerary just once entail any risk either in terms of not getting credit for the segments I have flown or any other consequences?
I'm Plat and had a trip booked LAX-NRT-SIN-NRT-LAX. DFW is home but originally I was going to do a positioning flight for outbound and had business to take care of in LA inbound, so it all lined up. Plans changed, I no longer had to be in LA and due to the JAL flight moving to HND, I was able to rebook inbound w/o cost to SIN-NRT-DFW-LAX.
Now I'm having second thoughts about ditching DFW-LAX. Do I no-show or should I bite the bullet and do the LAX trip? On the up-side I'm getting a free segment DFW-LAX. :-)
