Currently in LGW F Lounge and handed on entrance a piece of paper with the horrifying news that there are no bacon rolls or other hot food in the F Lounge today!
Apparently there is hot soup from noon in the Terraces Lounge (whatever that may be:)).
According to the note this is due to "essential kitchen adjustments" - in English this means they are doing some work on the kitchens.
The note goes on to say: "Please be assured we are working hard to resume our normal hot offerings at the earliest possible opportunity, we apologise if the food offering today has not met with your expectations ."

Ironically, the catering has met with my expectations as I was wondering how the LGW F Lounge catering could get any worse, and this seems to be it!
Parting thought: as always LGW staff have been excellent and really helpful/apologetic. I feel so sorry for them - BA hardly makes their lives easy.
