I booked hkg to dfw July 1st with miles saver J seat at 9:30 am (cx hkg to lax and aa lax to dfw). The problem that I am having is that I will start my trip from Macau and there is no direct ferry to airport available with flight earlier than 10:30 am at HKG. I have tried to change the ticket since March calling AA many times, but there is none available so far. My family is stressing out how to get me to airport with lot of luggages.
I am looking for ticket leaving hkg later than 10:30 am and I am open to travel July 1, 2, 3, and 4 to any routing hkg to dfw J seat mile saver, including to routing through bkk as I think that with the political uncertainties, there may be tickets available.
Is it possible to call Cx directly to change the ticket even though I am using aa miles?
Any suggestions from you will be highly appreciated.
