FAA Investigating Air-Traffic Controller's Tower Joke

The FAA is investigating a potentially dangerous prank involving a Delta flight from Japan that was coming in for a landing at ATL and an air-traffic controller. The controller jokingly told the Delta pilot that he could not land at the airport. The controller quickly explained that he was just joking, but the pilot had already aborted the landing.
