I have a MAN-LHR-DXB leg coming up soon with around 6 hours in LHR. A mate has suggested himself doing MAN-LHR-MAN and spending the time airside to catch up (I'm only briefly in the UK) and bag the rather expensive 20TPs.
Is this doable? I'm assuming he would have to clear customs and it would just be treated as a regular transfer? Not being familiar with LHR would hate him to waste a trip..
