The last time I flew into Newark EWR in October, I waited 45 minutes in line to get checked in for my Avis car rental, a weekday around 11 AM. I don't know if this was an anomaly or standard with today's labor shortages. I have Budget Fastbreak which I am inclined to use next time, but based on the length of the lines I saw (Avis & Budget--same counter), I am not sure if that is any faster. What other rental car agencies at EWR have faster customer service than these two? I have membership in most of the major ones.
