Baggage interlining Oz-Japan on RTW

To help with some planning, could someone please let me know what happens with baggage when we have these in a RTW ticket (therefore same PNR):
- QF HBA-SYD
- 19 hours (overnight) in SYD
- JL SYD-HND;
- 2h45 in Haneda
- JL HND-HIJ (Hiroshima)

Where would the bags hit a carousel for collection?

I am thinking that the SYD overnight is "transit" because it's <24 hrs so our bags may be checked all the way from HBA to HIJ -- is this correct?
Or because we are changing terminal do I collect my own bag from SYD domestic? (The QF website seems to suggest not.)

(I think next they will hit a carousel in HND as we have to carry them through customs.)
